About

Vandal SMP is a Minecraft server that's closer to anarchy than to your usual survival server. There are almost no rules, but we still believe in basic human decency: cheating, slurs and offensive remarks aren't allowed. Other than that, you're free to play the world however you want.

We don't sell pay-to-win content. Our store only has cosmetics and quality-of-life items that never give anyone an unfair advantage. Every purchase helps us upgrade the server and release new content.

Features

• Hardcore

  We don't use vanilla hardcore. Instead, our own plugin gives you a similar experience without locking you out of the server forever. When you die, it looks at how long you've played and how many valuable items you've gathered, and bans you for a time based on that.

• Extra Difficulty

  Hardcore alone wasn't enough. Vanilla progression has always felt too fast and too easy, and players run out of things to do way too quickly. So we slowed progression down without capping it. You can still get almost everything, you'll just take a different route to get there. For example, villages are disabled and enchanting tables give weaker results, so a fully enchanted armour set takes a lot more work than it does in vanilla.

• Staff

  We got tired of playing on servers with no in-game support for players dealing with problems in real time. So we built a system that lets you talk to a moderator directly in-game, no Discord ticket needed, because by the time a ticket gets answered it can already be too late.
